This Privacy Policy describes how information obtained from visitors of the MethodBodywork.com website (“Website”), to Method Bodywork locations (“Studio”), within IntakeQ forms and databases created by or at the request of Method Bodywork (“Forms”, “Charts”), Cognito Forms created by Method Bodywork and completed by a current, former, or prospective Client (“Survey”) and within Square, Inc. and/or PayPal’s Venmo databases (“Payment Provider”) is collected, used, and disclosed.

Who We Are

Method Bodywork is a wholly owned entity of Method Consulting; a California Limited Liability Company conducting business in California and at MethodBodywork.com. Any reference to Method Bodywork includes, but is not limited to the Managers, Agents, Employees and Staff of Method Consulting and any Manager, Agent, Employee, or Staff of any subordinate organization of Method Consulting.

What Information We Collect

Method Bodywork collects information from its former, current, and prospective Clients in order to conduct its business operations. Information obtained by Method Bodywork is never sold or exchanged. Method Bodywork may, at its sole discretion, transmit, store, and/or retrieve your information with our trusted third-party partners in order to conduct business. Types of information collected and examples of these types of information include, but are not limited to:


  • Personal Information: Including, but not limited to, your name, date of birth, eMail address, telephone number, private health information (including but not limited to the medications you take, your vaccination records, information about any pain or discomfort you experience, allergies, and health conditions), emergency contact information (including their name, telephone number, and the emergency contact’s relationship to you), any professional, student, or employment information (to verify your qualification to receive discounted services), photographs made available to Method Bodywork, and video recordings of you while in publicly accessible spaces within the Method Bodywork Studio.
  • Location Information: Including but not limited to your residence ZIP code and IP addresses from which you access MethodBodywork.com and the Third-Party Systems Method Bodywork uses to conduct its business.
  • Payment Information: Including, but not limited to, your payment card information.
  • Other Information: Including, but not limited to, your occupation and cell phone provider.
  • Feedback and Suggestions: Including any verbal, written or electronic feedback or suggestions you provide Method Bodywork.

We Do Not Sell or Exchange Your Information

Method Bodywork, its business practices, and annual revenue do not subject it to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018.

  • Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information.
  • Professional or employment-related information.
  • Education information, defined as information that is not publicly available personally identifiable information as defined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. section 1232g, 34 C.F.R. Part 99).
  • Inferences drawn from any of the information identified in this subdivision to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.

Your information may be shared with our trusted third-party business application providers for the purpose of conducting our business operations. Or trusted business partners, as of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy include:


  • IntakeQ: To obtain and store your Client intake forms and health information, send automated appointment confirmation messages via eMail and text message, and record information about your sessions with Method Bodywork
  • Cognito Forms: To obtain your feedback of the services you receive from Method Bodywork.
  • Square / CashApp: To process your payments to Method Bodywork, process your Rub Rewards program participation information, and to store your payment card information on file.
  • Venmo (a PayPal company): To process your payments to Method Bodywork.
  • Stripe: To process your payments to Method Bodywork.
  • Apple: To send / receive text, picture, and multimedia-based messages for Clients who use the iMessage service and store Client contact information.
  • Google: To send / receive eMail messages, store and retrieve information as outlined in the “What information we collect” section, and to store backups of our business documents

How Long We Retain Your Information

Information we hold about you, including any data you have provided us may be retained indefinitely or for as long as is necessary for our business purposes; except as required by law.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

You may request to receive copies of the data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You may also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. In the event you request that your data be erased, we will retain any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Communications From Us

Individuals who transact with Method Bodywork will receive emails and/or text messages sent directly by us or via automated processes as requested by our trusted third-party business application providers. These communications may be both transactional (e.g., appointment confirmation messages) and/or promotional in nature.
