Our Cancellation Policy is so important to us we've dedicated an entire page to it. Here is why...


Appointment time slots, including the time required to prepare the studio for your arrival, is time entirely dedicated to you. When you cancel or reschedule your appointment without sufficient notice, our ability to care for you and meet your expectations and that of our other clients is compromised. In many cases, we may have turned away other clients who wanted the time slot you have scheduled. Because a tenet of our work together is a relationship that is built on trust and respect, it is important to us that you read, understand, and agree to uphold your obligations under this policy if we are to work together.

Cancellation Policy

Occasionally, you may need to cancel or change your appointment. You are free to do so and there is no cost or impact to our relationship for an appointment cancelled or re-scheduled at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. If you signed up for a text or email appointment reminder, you will be given the option to confirm your appointment when you receive it, however, even if you don’t confirm your appointment, understand that you are still obligated to show for your appointment. There are two acceptable ways to cancel your appointment (the 'Login' link on the Method Bodywork homepage and within the Vagaro app). Both options require you to log into your Vagaro account and perform the cancellation through the user interface. Method Bodywork does not accept cancellations via any other means, including but not limited to cancellations by text message, phone call, or email. For log-in assistance with your Vagaro account, utilize the 'Forgot Password' link on the login screen or contact Vagaro directly using the 'Support' options listed here.


Your appointment starts at the scheduled start time. This means you are expected to have fueled up your car, accounted for Metro LA traffic, driven to the studio and found parking or walked to the studio, entered the building and arrived within the studio by your appointments scheduled start time. New clients are highly encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled start time to ensure you arrive on time. If you are not sitting in the blue chair within the studio at the scheduled start time of your appointment, you are late. We know that you look forward to receiving the entirety of service(s) you've booked. When you receive less than what you expect, our ability to meet your expectations is compromised. Because of this, if you arrive late for your appointment we will not provide an extension of your scheduled appointment and if you arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time of your appointment your appointment will be cancelled (i.e., not sitting in the blue chair within 10 minutes of your appointment time). The original scheduled service fee will be charged, in full for, late arrivals leading to cancellation.


If you miss your appointment or cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time you will be charged the full rate for your selected services. To ensure our Cancellation Policy is administered without bias, we will neither ask for nor do we request the reason of your need to cancel. Our Cancellation Policy is applied to all pertinent scenarios regardless of the reason for cancellation. This charge will be applied to the credit card you provided to hold your appointment when booking.


If you make your appointment within the 48 hours of the appointment time and you subsequently miss or cancel or reschedule that appointment you will be charged the full rate. This charge will be applied to the credit card you provided to hold your appointment when booking.


If you have cancelled or rescheduled your appointment, and were charged a fee for this, but we are able to book your originally scheduled appointment time with another client, 50% of any cancellation fee you were charged will be placed as a credit on your account. Account credits expire 180 days after issue. If we are unable to fill your originally scheduled appointment time, any cancellation fees paid will remain valid. 


If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment within the 48 hours of the appointment time, we will credit your Rub Rewards account balance double the points you would have earned* for your scheduled services (e.g., if your scheduled services would have earned 3 points, your account will be credited with 6 points). *Provided the service(s) you booked earn points


You authorize Method Bodywork to charge the payment card provided at booking to cover any Cancellation Fees. If a payment card is not on file or the card on file does not authorize, we will send you an invoice for any Cancellation Fees due. You agree to pay this invoice within 24 hours of it being sent. At Method Bodywork’s discretion, clients with a pattern of cancellations will be asked to pre-pay for their sessions. Any cancellation of pre-paid sessions, as a result of the client, will result in a loss of the full pre-paid amount or credit.
